Explore San Diego
If you are coming from out of town and would like to experience more of San Diego, we’ve included a few neighborhoods you might enjoy staying in. These areas are farther from the conference, but you can easily take an Uber or rideshare to campus!

North Park
North Park is known as one of San Diego’s most creative neighborhoods. You’ll find coffee shops, bookstores, restaurants, and breweries.

La Jolla
La Jolla is often called San Diego’s “jewel by the sea.” It has beautiful beaches, ocean views, restaurants, galleries, and La Jolla Cove, where seals and sea lions are often easy to spot.

Little Italy
Little Italy is known for its Italian roots and food scene. The neighborhood is filled with restaurants, cafés, galleries, and public plazas.

Hillcrest
Hillcrest is known as the heart of San Diego’s LGBTQ+ community. It has restaurants, cafés, local shops, nightlife, and easy access to nearby Balboa Park.

Old Town
Old Town is known as the birthplace of San Diego. The neighborhood has 25 historic sites and buildings, 30 restaurants, and more than 100 specialty stores.

Escondido
Escondido is known for its historic downtown, local wineries, arts scene, and nearby Safari Park.
